The different types of mobile operating system are given bellow :

Android OS

Android Operating System is one of the popular software developed by Android Inc Company. It's an excellent rise because it was created just in 2008. It is a Linux based operating system it is designed primary for touch screens mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet computers.

Android is a powerful operating supports a large number of applications on Smartphones. The hardware that supports android software is base on the ARM architecture platform. The android is an open source operating system that meant that it's free and anyone can use it. Android has got millions of apps available that can help you manage your life one or another way and it is available at low cost in the market for that reason android is vary popular.

Apple iOS

Apple iOS is Apple's mobile operating system for its range of mobile devices. MAC iOS is official name of the Macintosh operating system. Mac OS is the original primary operating system of Apple Computer's line of personal computer. Mac OS provides multiprocessing capabilities. Multiprocessing can be achieved by the OS level multithreading implementation inside OS.

Mac OS is proprietary of Apple Computer and developers all the software and the OS based development on its own. It virtually supports all the facilities that the remaining OS provide. The strength of Ma OS lies in the desktop publishing environment and Graphics design.

Windows mobile

Windows mobile is a mobile operating system for smart phone and mobile devices which is develop by Microsoft Corporation. It was first released in the pocket PC 2000 operating system and was based on the Windows CE kernel. Windows mobile included basic applications developed with the Microsoft Windows API and options of customization and software development with no restrictions by Microsoft.
 
Windows Mobile supplied a basic suite of application that was designed to be similar to the desktop version of Windows. It also came bundled with a set of applications, including Internet Explorer Mobile, Windows Media Player and Microsoft Office Mobile.

Blackberry

Blackberry mobile operating system is developed specially for the blackberry device. This OS runs only on blackberry phones like Curve, Perl, Blackberry bold and Storm series. This OS is analogous to Apple iOS because it can't run on different brands of phones. 

The first iteration of the BlackBerry OS, version 1.0, was released for the Pager BlackBerry 850 on January 19, 1999. Five additional versions were released, with the last being version 7.0, released in January 2012. The final version added several new features to BlackBerry smartphones, including Wi-Fi hotspot functionality, Wi-Fi calling and FM radio.

 . Linux Linux is an open source operating system. The term Linux is actually referred to mean a kernel of Unix like operating system developed by a Finish software architect Linus Torvald.
